Christmas party

 I loved been able to do the circus in a flash tricks! And I did them so well.

It was a great day and can't wait for next year.

 I am enjoying helping to choose Christmas decorations for our Christmas tree 🎄 at Arohanui. 

Relaxing

 This afternoon I enjoyed a lovely  massage in girl's group. It was so relaxing 😃 

Manicure and sushi

I went out with my girl pals to get my nails done and got sushi for lunch I had such a great day!

Beach display

 Today I am making beach themed displays to brighten up the center. 

Wind chime

 I'm enjoying putting together a wind chime for the sensory garden in garden art. I gt busy threading beads for it, i am excited to see how it turns out

Classic Flyers

 I had an amazing trip to Classic Flyers with my friends - I enjoyed looking at all the different planes!

 Today I carried on sanding some coasters I made in woodwork

Beautiful nails

 This afternoon in girls group i got my nails painted. I chose a beautiful blue color to match my blue cardigan im wearing today. 

Oropi Gala

 It was so much fun at the gala day I got to see so many animals and i even got to pat a chicken!

Talent quest

Today I watched the talent quest finals, there was lots of cool costumes, I sang the national anthem with my friends 

ice cream

 What a beautiful day today. I got to enjoy a yummy ice cream this afternoon.

Highland fling!

 Today we were very lucky to have some dancers come to do the highland fling for us at the centre. A mixture of Irish and Scottish traditional dances and songs. They were so talented and the costumes were beautiful.

 i started to make a wind chime in garden art today.

Floristry

 I had a great time painting my flax flower this morning. 

Muppets in music

 today in music I enjoyed playing the keyboard to ‘the Muppets’ with different guests. I really enjoyed it.

Paper recycling

 yesterday I helped to recycle old newspapers and magazines into new sheets of paper. 

BBQ

 I had a wonderful time at the BBQ - I loved eating my sausage! I was really good at swing ball and croquet too. what a beautiful day.

Recycling at its best

In my art session, I started tracing shapes for a collage using my coloured papers. I chose a bear, a footprint and an oval. 

Girls group

 This afternoon in girls group I got my nails painted! I chose a pretty sparkly purple colour. They look beautiful ❤️💅🏼

Leaf Painting

I really enjoyed painting the backs of leaves and printing them in Garden art this morning. Next week our wall hanging should be complete!

Food glorious food

Today I visited Bab's Turkish Eatery to learn about Turkey culture. I really enjoyed eating the food sampler called meze. My favourite was the baklavah.

Woodwork

Today in woodwork I started staining the coasters I have been making. I enjoyed staining them.

My beautiful nails

I had such a great day today, my dad surprised me today and took me out for lunch. Then when I got back I got my nails painted a beautiful pink. What a awesome day.

National anthem

i enjoyed singing the national anthem with Vanessa in music today.

Mixing Queen

I am really enjoying cooking today. We are making chapaties and I did an amazing job at mixing all of the ingredients together.

It was a great day feeding animals, seeing lions and spending time with my friends.

Rescue helicopter

Today we got to go down to the hospital and had a tour of the rescue Helicopter and a tour of an ambulance, we also go a ride in the ambulance.

I am busy making a leaning board in woodwork. I am looking forward to it being finished so that I can press on it when I write in my books.

I really had a nice swim at the Mount Hot Pools this week. I love to practice my swimming skills using the flutter board.
