Today we did secret santa. I thought it was so cool getting a kite and snow globe. Merry Christmas.

The strand water front

Last week I went on a outing to the waterfront on the strand. I enjoyed looking out into the water. There were some people doing bombs off the warf I thought that was pretty cool.

Christmas at he Proms

I had a good time at the show there was lots of singing and dancing!

Girls group

This morning in girls group I got my nails painted, today I chose a different colour to the one I usually use. What a beautiful colour!

Chopping Tomatoes

Here I am chopping tomatoes for cooking. I am really careful when using the knife making sure I make even cuts safely. I like that we take home what we cook to enjoy later.

Water park

This morning I went on a outing to the lakes water park with my friends. I enjoyed pumping the water and watching the spiral turn round and round. What a beautiful day 🌞

This afternoon we had a Halloween disco! What good fun we had dancing and listening to scared music 🎃 I thought this sign was funny

Sensory

we had a great time in sensory this afternoon. We had a space theme. We had a lot of fun playing with all the light up balls.

Chocolate fudge

Today in girls group we made chocolate fudge..I helped to sift the ingredients and mix the all together!i can’t wait to taste it, yuuuuum yum

we had such a great time in sensory today! We had a seasons theme but focussed on the beach and under water. I had a great time playing the fishing game.

Busy bee

On A very wet and cold Friday I went to the Comvita Factory and went on the tour with Nikki. I had a turn on the VR glasses and I was flying over the hives in a helicopter. It was cool. We ate our lunch at the cafe down the road and got some hot chips. I had a great day.

Kiwi Pets

Today I went to kiwi Pets, I watched a little dog get a hair cut and saw lots of different fish. It was a nice day.

Talent quest finals

on Friday I performed in the Arohanui talent quest. I sang away in a manger. I sang beautifully and placed 3rd equal with another contestant! I’m so proud of myself!

Rainbow Springs

I had a great day out at Rainbow Springs where we got to see baby Kiwis that only just hatched out of their shells!!! Feed the Fish and seen all the beautiful birds!!!

Rugby World cup

we had a awesome day on Friday, we had a shared lunch for the opening of the ruby World Cup. We also enjoyed a disco.

guide dogs

Yesterday the blind foundation brought four of their puppies in to see us. We loved feeding them treats.

Woodwork

I continued working on my house I'm making in woodwork today for my dolls.

Practise makes perfect

Only 3 weeks until the talent quest contest between Greerton and Wilrose so working hard on my song!

animates

I went on a outing to animates pet shop. there wasn't many animals there, only fish.
the fish were very colourful and pretty. I had a big smile on my face watching all the fish swimming.

Happy birthday to me

Today is my birthday and my dad picked me up and took me out for lunch, I was so excited an had lots of smiles.

Progress

ive started work on your rug again and working hard to get it finished. I find working on it fun and I really like it. I am not happy when I have to put it away.

Today  in woodwork I finished my box. I painted it pink and purple.

Wednesday walk

i went out first thing this morning to see the ducks at the reserve in gate pa. There were no ducks on the water at all today. But at least the sun was out and it wasn't too cold

Renovation

I had fun in my renovation session, singing along to my favourite songs.

Yummy scrolls

In cooking today I made yummy cheese, bacon and onion scrolls. I helped to mix the dough and knead it. I spread all the ingredients onto the dough and rolled in up. Then I helped with the clean up.

We got to go down to the movies at historic village and watch The Greatest Showman, I liked it and we got popcorn.

i went to Tauranga art gallery yesterday with my friends. I enjoyed the video art piece. We then went for a walk.

Reno

I got to make a pen holder in renovation I'm so pleased with the results.

Cooking

Yesterday  in cooking session I peeled and cut potatoes and cut broccoli to make roast vegetables. I had a good time and really enjoy cooking

Dominoes

After spending time in renovation making the game we got to play it.

Pink Ribbon morning tea

Today we had pink ribbon morning tea Arohanui. We made pink scones and cup cakes for it, and drank pink fruit tea. 
Dee came in with baby Torben and I loved it.

Manderine juice

We made manderine juice in girls group, we peeled so many manderines and then put them into the juicer and made juice. It was so good!

Baby Torben

Dee brought her baby into visit. I think he is very cute!

 In music today I had fun playing the keyboard and using the hand clappers.

Cooking Corn Fritters

Last week in cooking session I made delicious and healthy corn fritters.

I used fresh herbs and vegetables out of our own garden at the centre and had fun cutting everthing up for the fritters. After I mixed all ingredients I panfried the corn fritters until golden brown.
At the end I had a little taste of one of the corn fritters and really enjoyed them

Literacy

I am doing a crossword puzzle in literacy.

High tea

we had a high tea for girls group with herbal tea and scones cream and jam.

Being a guest at a “dramatic disco “

I was guest of Melissa’s Dramatic Disco this afternoon in music session. I really enjoyed myself watching a famous opera on the screen I also played a few different instruments which was fun

Swimming

Yesterday at swimming I focussed on swimming with a float and underwater breathing.

Swimming

After a long break from swimming, we had our first session back yesterday. I was straight in there, doing back stroke and breast stroke. I was in my element.

Otanewianuku

I went on a day long adventure into the Otanewianuku bush with my friends! It was awesome! A gorgeous fantail followed us and a robin came so close to me whilst I stood still.
